The Guillotine Cross Guide (Ch.1 Novice)

CHAPTER. 1 

- the Novice

You will spend hours and hours, trying to come up with a good character name.

After such a labor you will be stepping on the Harbor of Izlude.

Welcome to the Runemidgard.

Leave the ship

Ignore that giant Moose. 

It gives nothing of significance. 

The first quest

Talk to the men first and do what he asks.
and then talk to the guard next to him.

You will be asked to visit 3 points around Izlude town. 

Pay attention to these places. 

You will be crying in those corners a lot.

Once done, back to guard again.


Over that bridge, you will be entering the Criatura Academy.

Once done, back to guard again.

Over that bridge, you will be entering the Ciratura Academy.

On the way, nice lady over here will give you AGI up skill.

For 3 minutes you will run like the Flash. 

Once inside, talk to the receptionist.

She will kindly hand you over 300 potions that will be used for long long time

 To left side of the room

Ask him to teach you the first aid skill.

And also do the red herb quest for exp.

You will meet your rival here just like you would in Pokémon game.

He is enter spam friendly so spam enter and be done with him.

Also, if you talk to the grad student who passed out after the final, he will teach you the

ultimate skill.

Pretend dead.

Now back into the academy and talk to Mainz who is one the right side of the room

from the Receptionist.

You can kind of enter spam him but remember to talk to him twice, but on second time

You have to choose the latter option about eating his food.

Back to center hallway, walk up a bit and turn left

You first, talk to Attribute Expert and ask about experiencing the element.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT CONCEPT and YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THEM FULLY.

DON"T RUSH PAST THIS PART.

Usually, there are lots of high level gxs hanging around here, so ask them about attribute etc as well

Once done understanding the Attribute, talk to the guy on the left top.

He will eventually warp you to another place, where you tame the baby poring.

Don't open it or anything, we are going to sell it for the money.

Now go back to receptionist again, and down right there is stairs leading up to the 2nd floor.

Go up and walk up the hallway, you will see the signs.

Check them. until you reach the thief class room (which is on the left side)

Inside you will find your annoying rival again but before meeting this annoying little *Blur*

Talk to all three instructors first and just choose all options at least once.

Now you have thief manual, equip it as he would say and check your etc skill tab.

You will find envenom, steal.

Put them on a shortcut and talk to that annoying rival.

He will challenge you to a dual but you will kick his ass.

(You will want to put all stats in dex to maximize the steal chance).

(There is a chance of fail, if you don't have dex, chance is quite high)

(Don't be alarmed as nothing happens and your SP decreases, it is normal)

Once you done all your quest here, exit the Academy.

There is 2 route you can take from here.

1. Who have some means to kill mobs fast (i.e., equips from other characters)

Go to Step 3

2. If you are brand new or like to take things slowly can 

start from Step 1.

STEP.1 

on the right button side of Izlude there are these slackers

STEP. 2

Talk to them in the given order and you will gain exp. 

then move to 7 o clock side. 

Also these two cats as well.

Left bottom one is the first cat to talk to.

And then talk to the top one.

They all give exps so by this time your level should be around 

Base 6 and Job 9.

If not, go back to step. 1  

Don't just enter spam.

STEP. 3

Talk to the shop girl.

You have to choose the latter options in her dialogue. so chose it carefully.

She will ask you to buy red potion.

So go inside the shop on her left.

Sell everything except the weapon/armor/potions/flywing/butterfly wing/ 

eg. Things like taming item, pet egg, incubators and so on.

*DON"T SELL THE COTTON SHIRT AND DAGGER. 

*YOU CAN"T PROCEED TO THE NEXT STAGE OF THE QUEST WITH CATS IF YOU DO SO.

If you talk to her again, she will give you another quest, which is selling a tin can do that and you are done for basic quest.

by this far you should be able to reach job level 10 eligible to job change.

If you are here yet, your job level is not 10 but can't be bother to go back.

move to the optional step.

OPTIONAL STEP

If you have chosen to bypass step 1 and 2 which do take a while to talk to all the npcs.

you can just step outside of Izlude through 8 o' clock portal and kill the mobs outside. 

This is only recommended if you have gears to kill most of them by one shot.

This is Rocker, which is east east of Izlude. we will come back here later also.

Weapon I used here was +9 Main Gouache with 4 Zipper bear card.

4 Andre card work just as nicely.

Make either one of that, and you will have a breeze when making new characters.

This concludes our Novice part of the journey. 

Try using Butterfly wing which will take you back to Izlude town.

!!!JOB CHANGE!!!

- The Passage

Back to Criatura Academy and to the thief class room again, if you talk to the center girl

she will turn you into the thief.

now you are no longer able to use thief guide book. so sell it to npcs.

Optional step

If you go back to cat at 7 o clock in Izlude with your new received weapon

The cat will enchant it for you for free.
So you can enchant it until you get the option you want.

Max stat option is 

+3 and +3 of any stat.

for thief AGI/DEX/STR all good options
