I was hesitant about making a separate item chapter because no matter what I suggest or what I say there will be people saying
"Oh that is crap, this is better, mine is the best"
but after seeing most of the questions are just about the gear and nothing much else I decided to put this together.
So here we go
The Top
1. Rideword Hat
Probably the best top hat for the GX in terms of versatility.
You can use this hat from the beginning till the end.
But for it to be really worth it refine has to be +9.
If you don't already have one instead of buying +0 save till you can buy +9 straight away.
Best paired with Marduk card for MVPing and general use
2. Vanargand Helm
Same effect as Rideword. There already are many thread about which is better for the GX so I won't state anything as this thread will become yet another Rideword vs Vana thread.
I have Marduk carded vana because I had it before even starting the GX but for me if I start from 0 I would buy rideword.
(for gx at least, for other character Vana seems to be better option at higher price)
also best with +9 with Marduk card for most versatility.
3. Rudolf Hairband
Althought it doesn't say, it increases the potency of the carrot for healing.
at low level, price and the effect is nice.
however, it makes carrot heal only as much as yellow or orange potion you won't be survivng the hit by spamming carrot with this past 130level
It is very nice low level entry item. but if you could afford other head gear mentioned hear, get them instead.
4. Leaf Cat Hat
Also not shown in the description but if you refine it to 7 or higher it will give exp boost.
at lower level when you don't need that much item to survive, this is definetly a nice addition to your arsenal. I am currently using it in NCT.
5. White Drooping Eddga Hat
BEST ITEM IN RO PERIOD
because you will turn into giant fluffy cat what could you possibly want more?
higher the refine, more often you will turn into giant fluffy cat therefore better.
Also it gives atk bonus but who cares
6. Witch Pumpkin Hat
Usually paired with Alarm mask to use pumpkin to give high healing potent.
WPH for short, with alarm mask pumpkin will heal as much as white condensed slim potion.
it is here, for 11z it heal as much as a White potion.
But the price of the hat is quite high and it is somewhat hard to justifice the price as WPH+mask will use up all high mid low slot for head gear and it give no other significant boost apart from cheap healing item.
It may even be cheaper to spam white condensed througout leveling 2 character to 175.
than this hat.
Also other healing potent boosting item is available for much less as well.
Cards
- Marduk Card
This Card is obvious choice as silence is very commonly used by mvps and that leads to more or less the death. not to mention there arn't much good alternative to start with.
The Mid
1. Dark Blinder
With Marduk carded upper and Dark blinder in the mid, you can eliminate 90% of the reason of failed MVP or instance dungeoning.
unless you are running eddga on top and have to use marduk mid head gear, this is very obvious yet amazing gear.
Rolling cutter relies heavily on hit so once blinded, you will miss, no HP leech, means death.
2. Any Slotted Mid Gear
Blush, glasses, or whatever you fancy is fine. you will at least going to need to have marduk in one of either your top or mid headgear for mvp and instance dungeons.
If you want to conserve the value of your top headgear such as vana or rideword it may be better to use those headgears without cards and equipping marduk midgear.
The Low
Lower headgear, it will be not something you need but more of something you want.
Problem with low gear is that for stats offered general price is high thus hard to justify the cost.
However, if you can afford one why not.
1. Gangster Scarf
Probably the cheapest low gear with stat around. Also many people disagree with the look of the item as well.
But being cheapest and giving ATK bonus it is probably going to be your first lower gear.
2. Pirate Dagger
I think description here is wrong but far as I can remember Gangster Scarf and Pirate Dagger has same options but I may be wrong.
Price is bit higher than Gangster Scarf but if you prefer the look of the dagger go for it.
3. CD In Mouth
This is more of a fun time item than actually using it for the property.
This will light up your screen like Christmas and cause anyone in surrounding area lots of lag. Apart from very few specific characters it is hard to get the full benefit of this as it is designed.
4. Well-Chewed Pencil
This is one of few lower gear that is perfect for GX.
When you just turn into GX at level 100 and up till around 130 or even after that, many people complain about HIT. Not being able to hit the mob is the last thing you want for RC build and this gives amazing boost to that all needed HIT.
As there aren't so many HIT bound builld that is popular out there, price is relatively cheap for the effect.
5. Fish In Mouth
Another healing potent increase item. The fish is bit heavier than pumpkin or carrot but for lower headgear, where there aren't much else to have anyways, it is great.
It will turn fish into orange~yellow potion level.
6. Blood Sucker
Relatively new item and many people seem to love it, but I think the price is way too high for what it is. Thing is people who already doesn't own one, don't think this item that magically make you leech HP 2 or 3times more. It just add a bit more.
If you can afford it comfortably, I would recommend but for anyone that is stretching their budget or still haven'tgot some other more significant item, save your zeny.
7. Jinn Marin Balloon
While it was cheap, this was the best lower gear, and look wise also is generally appealing thus is pretty awesome buy.
But the price has gone up significantly, although cheaper than blood sucker it is still bit highly priced for most people to just grab it off the vend.
8. Long Octopus Balloon
Cheaper and weaker brother of Jinn, but this one increase VIT and INT while Jinn gives ATK and dex. This is something you can use till you move up to better and more expensive stuff but you won't be using this forever.
The Armor
1. Nab's Cloth
This one will be your best friend till the very end. Great thing about these mora item series is that as long as you stay busy and do the daily as it is meant to be played every day, you can farm it easily and reliably yourself.
That makes it cheap, the key is not going for the best possible enchant but to settle with something that is acceptable.
Best enchant to get is FS(Fighting Spirit) but don't aim for something like 9FS enchant but aim for 6~7FS range, they are dirt cheap and it is easy enough to DIY even.
All my Nab's are 6~7FS range and I never felt like "Ohh only if I had 9FS Nab..."
2. Elemental Armors
This is where good GX and bad GX is decided.
Elemental armor is typically made by using the cards outlined here.
But for GX is concerned pretty much all of them apart from Poison and Earth will be used.
However, there are some notable exception where just having that elemental card is not enough.
Very hard to memorize named armors are usually paird with
To make Unfrozen armor some MVP just freezes you to death and this prevents any of those happening.
However, all those above mentioned armor has 2 version where one is without the slot and restricted only to swordie class while the slotted one is for every classes.
So you have to be extra careful when buying one to make sure it is the one with the socket not the unsocketted one.
but for Water armor to make unfrozen water armor there is new very cheap option
People literally throw these away and also as Jitterbug instance is super easy you might as well farm it your self.
Only down side is that level limit is 130 and the cost of Marc card is so much higher than the armor itself.
3. Valkyrian Armor
This is mostly used for baphomat hunting to make unbreakable wind armor.
4. Cotton Shirt / Any cheap slotted armor
I am very strongly for this armor the cotton shirt you started will get enchanted for basically free so you can make it to best option you can get and for free.
Slot with cheap Evil druid and Bathory card to make deadly and evil armor to use in leveling in place like orc dungeon or somtimes in low TI when dark priest is there.
Many people die from the Dark Priest's holy cross but with evil or deadly armor you are immune to that.
Good thing about deadly is that you are basically immune to most bad status that can be applied to you.
As Deadly armor makes you immune to frozen status, snowier accessory starts to make a lot more sense. however, Deadly armor will prevent you from getting healed, and resurrected so if you were to use it instance dungeon, remember to take token with you.
5. Tidung
If you have lots of zeny to spend Tidung is good alternative to cotton shirt.
6. Pantie
When you are absolutely broke and just started RO, this is the one you could aim for along with undershirt. Non slotted version is cheap and 5 Agi with 10Flee is a great option at low level.
Cards
- Elemental armor cards
No need to explain
- Earth Deleter Card
Used in tendom with the Undead Knight F card it is amazing at lower level but as you level up the elemental attack of the mob is too hurting that you will eventually have to give this up for elemental armor but for low level espcially pre level 90 range, it is amazing.
The Weapon
1. Thanatos Katar
This is absolutely the best waepon till the very end apart from maybe demi human gear like agent katar.
But with such high ATK and being level 4 weapon higher the refine the damage increase is significant. Also this item is very very easy to farm, for most people you will only be needing 5~6days of playing for 30min will be enough to get one.
You can get it from doing Ghost palace instance which I will have guide up.
2. Chakram
3. Krishna
4. Specialty Jur
Chakram, Krishna,Specialty Jur all of them are just temporal weapon till you use Thanatos katar at level 120 so don't over spend on any of these weapons.
Any of the above weapon with HF for rolling cutter from level 99~120 is good enough
or with 4 Zipper bear or Andre card for leveling your assassin cross up to 99 level.
5. Main Gouche
Used from level 1 novice till Assassin Cross, make one +9 4 zipper bear or 4 andre main gouche it will make you super OP at that level, such a breeze in leveling not to mention the cost of the weapon if you go with 4 andre will only be few million zeny.
Cards
- Hunter Fly
This is for HP leech, the price is high, but it is worth it. However, just 1 card won't feel like much of a diffrence it really shines only if it is at least 2 or more cards.
However, HP leech is also proportional to the damage output therefore, if the base ATK of the weapon is low (Specialy jur for example) it won't be as effective
- Zipper Bear
This Card give instant +30atk bonus so having 4 of this in main gouche at level 1 you are immensly OP. Only downside is that it drains SP quite hard but even if your sp is 0 the bonus atk still applies for thief and assassin where even if you had SP there are nothing you can use that SP for, 4 Zipper bear weapon is great.
- Andre
Cheaper also bit less powerful but no SP drain version of Zipper Bear.
The Garment
1. Heroic Backpack (aka HBP)
HBP, many people including me love this but for me the most value is from the greed rather than the option itself.
My recommendation would be just buy +0 and use it for the greeding and that will pay itself off in few days with good TI.
Good week in Mid TI with greeding will earn you to buy +9 FAW in a week.
2. Fallen Angel Wing (aka FAW)
This is what i would recommend as enchanting is guranteed with 1m per try.
Also as you could already choose what type of enchant you want makes enchanting very easy as well. So don't pay premium for enchanted version of FAW.
I personally prefer the FAW as enchant makes it alot stronger than HBP.
But for most of the time I take HBP along as well for greeding.
So if you are lazy about switching between them, HBP works just as well.
3. Nidhoggur's Shadow Garb (aka Garb)
You will be going to selling it more than you actually using it.
Nidhoggur is easy instance for GX but drop chance is very high and price is quite high for what it is.
However, if you are really short of SP(you really shouldn't) then it may be an option for rich folks.
4. Giant Faceworm Snake Skin (aka GFSS)
This is great as refine and enchant is pre determined when it is dropped from the instance. The price is relative to how good the enchant is and high the refine rate is.
But for me this is best way to make undead knight garment as even +10 or +12 refined garment for few million is possible.
5. Undershirt
Budget option but the problem is the socket version is expensive. Get non socketed version to use it with pantie for that 5 AGI when starting new in the server.
Cards
- Raydric Card
Known as Immune, it is most used garment card for pretty much every class.
20% decrease in enemy damage gets better and better as you go to higher level place.
Pairs nicely with both HBP and FAW.
- Deviling Card
The card that you can only appreciate at level 150+ before that immune may be an better option. But when using this item becareful of what kind of elemental attack is used by the mob as you will get hit very hard by those elemental attacks.
Having DR garment when hit with waterball will only end badly for you
- Undead Knight F Card
Underated card for so many reason. But it is limited to only few classes out there.
The true potency of this card can be seen in my leveling guide.
- Whisper Card
It was some waht popular in early RO days but not so much anymore so it became very cheap.
I might consider getting one if you find one very cheap and can't afford undead knight garment currently.
Put this in any slotted garment, preferably GFSS as it is super cheap slotted garment can be worn at level 1 and people literally throw them away for the one with bad enchant and low refine rate.
The Boot
1. Temporal Boots
Very easy to get, cuz even if your gear is bad you can start to farm OGH at level 150 and if your gear and control is good enough, OGH is farmable since 130 and you only need one crystal to get this boot.
So make this refine to something like +6 or +9 if you want to be greedy and pair with HP increase large potion, at low level you will be indestructable and will level up before you deplete your HP rendering your potion useless.
2. Temporal Agi Boots
For RC build generally speaking STR boot is preferred with usually stat going for 120 str and 100 agi but if you are going for 120 agi build AGI boot is nice to have.
for the boot you will want Lucky day as last enchant pretty much all the time.
if not, get hawkeye for dex for added hit as you will be needing them in some instances.
3. Temporal STR Boots
9 or 12 STR boot with LD will be the end game boot.
If you have lots of zeny to spend or you want something absolutely best get str with LD enchant and you won't be worrying about the boot forever.
4. Variant Shoes
For budget user, this will be with you untill you farm your own boot.
For the price of this boot, the option is best there is and also no need fore refine or even better, that +0 is the best one makes it pefect no brainer selection for budget user.
5. Shackles
With Bloodied shackle ball 50atk is great at low level however weight restriction hits hard.
Also, it is kind of expensive so for boot i think variant wins hands down.
6. Sandals
For making EXP boot this is the best for cheap price. For any other potential cards Variant will always be better and cheaper option
Cards
- EXP Card Set
It is somewhat hard to find cards as some of them are boss type mob but still it is generally very cheap and with Leaf Cat and Costume Goggle EXP increase is noticeable.
Downside is that you will get hit harder but for low-level places where this can be used, it shouldn't matter as much.
The Accessories
1. Bakonawa Agimat Tattoo
Super over priced item. In KRO it is dirt cheap so commonly used.
But in iRO it cost as much as +9 DR FAW or any other high-end item that it makes very little sense to have one unless you have spare billion zenies just rotting around in some accounts.
2. Rogue's Treasure
My personal favorite bit pricy but still worth the price.
For price reason it is usually paired with either cold heart or black cat but using 2 of these at the same time is best as having both ATK and HIT.
3. Black Cat
If you can't afford 2 Rogue's Trasure take one of these depending on your hunting ground
4. Cold Heart
If you can't afford 2 Rogue's Trasure take one of these depending on your hunting ground
5. Cat Hand Glove
Best for making telport (Creamy Card) accessories as creamy card nowadays is so cheap.
but apart from that it serves little purpose as it is not as cheap as you want.
Also kukure carded version may be used but it is not that cheap that I would recommend.
6. Pendant of Maelstorm
Don't buy this but if you want farm it your self. However, the Maelstrom has massive after cast delay that you might get killed if that procs.
7. The Sign
Given after the epic quest. Sign quest apart from god item quest will probably be the longest quest there is and toughest.
Not to mention you need ton of items but also you need very good internet connection in dancing part.
8. Bloodied Shackle Ball
When paired with Shackles it give 50 ATK which is nice but it isn't cheap either.
9. Vesper Core 04
Cheapest and one of the best accessory for the GX.
GX will always going to be needing lots of HIT but can't spend too much on DEX as there are other priorities.
This and Rogue's treasure solve the HIT problem but vesper core 4 is only few million while Rogue's treasure is many times the price of vesper core4 if you are tight on budget, this is the best you can ask for the price.
10. Clip
Cheapest option to make carded Accessory but if you have the zeny go with cat hand.
Cards
- Snowier Card
One of most cost effective healing potent item.
If you have 2 of these in clip or cat hand you can't go wrong.
It makes ice cream heals as much as white pot.
Although it is heavier than condensed healing amount is big enough to max your HP bar at low level and still useful till very high level.
Downside is that ice cream has chance of freezing you.
2 Way to beat this is
1. Wear unfrozen or Deadly armor to mitigate the frozen status.
2. Heal amount is so big just get frozen and get hit by the mob to get unfrozen.
either way is fine but number 1 is much smarter solution as cotton shirt + evil druid card is very very cheap.
The way to get ice cream is by through venders or having married character to Zzawaii or you can buy 10 at a time at brazilis.
Get into a guild and most likely guild member who is married can help you out.
- Hell Poodle Card
Similar to Snowier Card having 2 of these boost the Meat quite nicely but will not heal you as much as ice cream. But meat is easier to come by and will not freeze you thus more convenient for many people.
- Creamy Card
It was very expensive few years ago but now it is so cheap.
but I personally prefer using Fly wing than Teleport as it requires additional enter to finally fly away making it hard to use as an emergency escape.
- Vitata Card
Also kind good to have if you have other INT heavy class but for GX only because our INT is 1 it is hard to get the benefit.
The Costumes
Costumes are something you want the last as it is there to squeeze out that last few % of power out of the character. If you are saving for some other items that are main equipment, get them first and leave costume for later.
1. Costume Goggle
This is probably the only exception of the costume, and something you want to grab as early as possible. Price is not too hight that it will be out of your reach for most people.
2. Costume Boy's Cap
Same effect as Costume Goggle, but different look. Many people hate the look of the Costume google so if the look of the C.Goggle is not to your taste, you can have this one for about 5times of the price.
3. Ancient Shadow Set
This Item allows you to have greater flexibility in HIT territory.
Still bit pricey but if you got all the main equipment, Ancient Set would be the perfect first performance costume.
3. Costume Wing
More or less the same apart from the colour, but Archangel wing is bit more expensive most of the time.
What you want to enchant on these is the ASPD+1 which is great for any level at any stage.
Once past 185ASPD +1 is so much.
3. Physical Shadow Set
Usually used in complete set, it is expensive but still if you got the zeny, it will squeeze out that last few % of maximum power of your character.
But for it to be really worth it refine has to be +9.

Used in tendom with the Undead Knight F card it is amazing at lower level but as you level up the elemental attack of the mob is too hurting that you will eventually have to give this up for elemental armor but for low level espcially pre level 90 range, it is amazing.
The Weapon
1. Thanatos Katar
This is absolutely the best waepon till the very end apart from maybe demi human gear like agent katar.
But with such high ATK and being level 4 weapon higher the refine the damage increase is significant. Also this item is very very easy to farm, for most people you will only be needing 5~6days of playing for 30min will be enough to get one.
You can get it from doing Ghost palace instance which I will have guide up.
2. Chakram
3. Krishna
4. Specialty Jur
Chakram, Krishna,Specialty Jur all of them are just temporal weapon till you use Thanatos katar at level 120 so don't over spend on any of these weapons.
Any of the above weapon with HF for rolling cutter from level 99~120 is good enough
or with 4 Zipper bear or Andre card for leveling your assassin cross up to 99 level.
5. Main Gouche
Used from level 1 novice till Assassin Cross, make one +9 4 zipper bear or 4 andre main gouche it will make you super OP at that level, such a breeze in leveling not to mention the cost of the weapon if you go with 4 andre will only be few million zeny.
Cards
- Hunter Fly
This is for HP leech, the price is high, but it is worth it. However, just 1 card won't feel like much of a diffrence it really shines only if it is at least 2 or more cards.
However, HP leech is also proportional to the damage output therefore, if the base ATK of the weapon is low (Specialy jur for example) it won't be as effective
- Zipper Bear
This Card give instant +30atk bonus so having 4 of this in main gouche at level 1 you are immensly OP. Only downside is that it drains SP quite hard but even if your sp is 0 the bonus atk still applies for thief and assassin where even if you had SP there are nothing you can use that SP for, 4 Zipper bear weapon is great.
- Andre
Cheaper also bit less powerful but no SP drain version of Zipper Bear.
The Garment
1. Heroic Backpack (aka HBP)
HBP, many people including me love this but for me the most value is from the greed rather than the option itself.
My recommendation would be just buy +0 and use it for the greeding and that will pay itself off in few days with good TI.
Good week in Mid TI with greeding will earn you to buy +9 FAW in a week.
2. Fallen Angel Wing (aka FAW)
This is what i would recommend as enchanting is guranteed with 1m per try.
Also as you could already choose what type of enchant you want makes enchanting very easy as well. So don't pay premium for enchanted version of FAW.
I personally prefer the FAW as enchant makes it alot stronger than HBP.
But for most of the time I take HBP along as well for greeding.
So if you are lazy about switching between them, HBP works just as well.
3. Nidhoggur's Shadow Garb (aka Garb)
You will be going to selling it more than you actually using it.
Nidhoggur is easy instance for GX but drop chance is very high and price is quite high for what it is.
However, if you are really short of SP(you really shouldn't) then it may be an option for rich folks.
4. Giant Faceworm Snake Skin (aka GFSS)
This is great as refine and enchant is pre determined when it is dropped from the instance. The price is relative to how good the enchant is and high the refine rate is.
But for me this is best way to make undead knight garment as even +10 or +12 refined garment for few million is possible.
5. Undershirt
Budget option but the problem is the socket version is expensive. Get non socketed version to use it with pantie for that 5 AGI when starting new in the server.
Cards
- Raydric Card
Known as Immune, it is most used garment card for pretty much every class.
20% decrease in enemy damage gets better and better as you go to higher level place.
Pairs nicely with both HBP and FAW.
- Deviling Card
The card that you can only appreciate at level 150+ before that immune may be an better option. But when using this item becareful of what kind of elemental attack is used by the mob as you will get hit very hard by those elemental attacks.
Having DR garment when hit with waterball will only end badly for you
- Undead Knight F Card
Underated card for so many reason. But it is limited to only few classes out there.
The true potency of this card can be seen in my leveling guide.
- Whisper Card
It was some waht popular in early RO days but not so much anymore so it became very cheap.
I might consider getting one if you find one very cheap and can't afford undead knight garment currently.
Put this in any slotted garment, preferably GFSS as it is super cheap slotted garment can be worn at level 1 and people literally throw them away for the one with bad enchant and low refine rate.
The Boot
1. Temporal Boots
Very easy to get, cuz even if your gear is bad you can start to farm OGH at level 150 and if your gear and control is good enough, OGH is farmable since 130 and you only need one crystal to get this boot.
So make this refine to something like +6 or +9 if you want to be greedy and pair with HP increase large potion, at low level you will be indestructable and will level up before you deplete your HP rendering your potion useless.
2. Temporal Agi Boots
For RC build generally speaking STR boot is preferred with usually stat going for 120 str and 100 agi but if you are going for 120 agi build AGI boot is nice to have.
for the boot you will want Lucky day as last enchant pretty much all the time.
if not, get hawkeye for dex for added hit as you will be needing them in some instances.
3. Temporal STR Boots
9 or 12 STR boot with LD will be the end game boot.
If you have lots of zeny to spend or you want something absolutely best get str with LD enchant and you won't be worrying about the boot forever.
4. Variant Shoes
For budget user, this will be with you untill you farm your own boot.
For the price of this boot, the option is best there is and also no need fore refine or even better, that +0 is the best one makes it pefect no brainer selection for budget user.
5. Shackles
With Bloodied shackle ball 50atk is great at low level however weight restriction hits hard.
Also, it is kind of expensive so for boot i think variant wins hands down.
6. Sandals
For making EXP boot this is the best for cheap price. For any other potential cards Variant will always be better and cheaper option

Downside is that you will get hit harder but for low-level places where this can be used, it shouldn't matter as much.
The Accessories
1. Bakonawa Agimat Tattoo
Super over priced item. In KRO it is dirt cheap so commonly used.
But in iRO it cost as much as +9 DR FAW or any other high-end item that it makes very little sense to have one unless you have spare billion zenies just rotting around in some accounts.
2. Rogue's Treasure
My personal favorite bit pricy but still worth the price.
For price reason it is usually paired with either cold heart or black cat but using 2 of these at the same time is best as having both ATK and HIT.
3. Black Cat
If you can't afford 2 Rogue's Trasure take one of these depending on your hunting ground

If you can't afford 2 Rogue's Trasure take one of these depending on your hunting ground
5. Cat Hand Glove
Best for making telport (Creamy Card) accessories as creamy card nowadays is so cheap.
but apart from that it serves little purpose as it is not as cheap as you want.
Also kukure carded version may be used but it is not that cheap that I would recommend.
6. Pendant of Maelstorm
Don't buy this but if you want farm it your self. However, the Maelstrom has massive after cast delay that you might get killed if that procs.
7. The Sign
Given after the epic quest. Sign quest apart from god item quest will probably be the longest quest there is and toughest.
Not to mention you need ton of items but also you need very good internet connection in dancing part.
8. Bloodied Shackle Ball
When paired with Shackles it give 50 ATK which is nice but it isn't cheap either.
9. Vesper Core 04
Cheapest and one of the best accessory for the GX.
GX will always going to be needing lots of HIT but can't spend too much on DEX as there are other priorities.
This and Rogue's treasure solve the HIT problem but vesper core 4 is only few million while Rogue's treasure is many times the price of vesper core4 if you are tight on budget, this is the best you can ask for the price.
10. Clip
Cheapest option to make carded Accessory but if you have the zeny go with cat hand.
Cards
- Snowier Card
One of most cost effective healing potent item.
If you have 2 of these in clip or cat hand you can't go wrong.
It makes ice cream heals as much as white pot.
Although it is heavier than condensed healing amount is big enough to max your HP bar at low level and still useful till very high level.
Downside is that ice cream has chance of freezing you.
2 Way to beat this is
1. Wear unfrozen or Deadly armor to mitigate the frozen status.
2. Heal amount is so big just get frozen and get hit by the mob to get unfrozen.
either way is fine but number 1 is much smarter solution as cotton shirt + evil druid card is very very cheap.
The way to get ice cream is by through venders or having married character to Zzawaii or you can buy 10 at a time at brazilis.
Get into a guild and most likely guild member who is married can help you out.
- Hell Poodle Card
Similar to Snowier Card having 2 of these boost the Meat quite nicely but will not heal you as much as ice cream. But meat is easier to come by and will not freeze you thus more convenient for many people.
- Creamy Card
but I personally prefer using Fly wing than Teleport as it requires additional enter to finally fly away making it hard to use as an emergency escape.
- Vitata Card
Also kind good to have if you have other INT heavy class but for GX only because our INT is 1 it is hard to get the benefit.
The Costumes
Costumes are something you want the last as it is there to squeeze out that last few % of power out of the character. If you are saving for some other items that are main equipment, get them first and leave costume for later.

3. Ancient Shadow Set
This Item allows you to have greater flexibility in HIT territory.
Still bit pricey but if you got all the main equipment, Ancient Set would be the perfect first performance costume.
3. Costume Wing
More or less the same apart from the colour, but Archangel wing is bit more expensive most of the time.
What you want to enchant on these is the ASPD+1 which is great for any level at any stage.
Once past 185ASPD +1 is so much.
3. Physical Shadow Set
Usually used in complete set, it is expensive but still if you got the zeny, it will squeeze out that last few % of maximum power of your character.
